Tatiana Lysak-Polischuk was born in Ukraine. She Moved to ST.Petersburg in 1982 were she graduated from The Acedemy of Arts. At present Tatiana has two own studios, one in Moscow and one in Petersburg. The first professional steps of Tatiana Lysak-Polishchuk were in the early nineties. And like many of her other young artists of the time, she had to seek and find their own identity at the turn of the century, and even - the millennium. At the time when more recently artistic foundations were collapsing and when the desired freedom was not so much pleasing as alarming, where the absence of prohibitions often was interpreted as neglecting quality. Tatiana doesn't simply "composes paintings,". She looks at the world through the prism of her own imagination, and the glass is covered by a little amalgam of past artistic associations.
