I discovered the tickle that comes from working with clay in my first class some 14 years ago. There is something so amazing that happens when your brain shifts from creating on a computer screen (my day job) to working in 3-D! In 2011 I joined an incredible creative collective when I became a key member at Wesleyan Potters. Having access to the entire studio, the other artists here, the ‘behind the scenes’ processes such as making glazes, loading kilns, running sales, etc. has been invaluable. I've decided to take a break from wheel-throwing and play with some hand-building in 2014. I've been working on a series of hats - the challenge has been great fun and I'm enjoying the results so far!
