Dionne Victoria studied painting at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2012, she travelled abroad to teach English to Korean children where she learned to use arts to teach English as second language. In 2012 she began volunteering at the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center facilitating therapeutic art. She has taught art classes and facilitates therapeutic art through the Urban Retreat Center of Chicago, in grammar schools and the Sacred Heart Home, a rehabilitation center. She currently works as a studio manager for Tye Johnson Artistry and a teaching artist for Sky Arts and is developing an arts integration program at the National Teachers Academy. Her art has been shown internationally and has been given honorable mention in the Black Creativity exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry and has been exhibited in the Congress Library in Washington D.C.
