Agora Gallery is delighted to announce an upcoming exhibit entitled Unbound Perspectives. The show celebrates the work of nine artists who work in a variety of media pursuing the expression of emotion and point of view.

Unbound Perspectives includes, Agora represented, contemporary artists Jerry Anderson, William Atkinson, Rogelio Cabadas Lopez, Xiao daCunha, Belle Roth, Monika Gloviczki, David Lionheart, Jodi DeCrenza and Sigrid Thaler. Each artist takes on distinctive subject matters, styles, and materials to communicate and process their perspectives. The artwork explores themes of psychology, chaos, and desire creating a vivacious body of work activating viewers to connect to their emotions experienced throughout the day.

These artists turn to imagery of nature, abstraction, and architecture to explore the world at different scales and perspectives.

Unbound Perspectives celebrates the gestural and unfiltered expression of artists including abstract and figurative artworks alike. Because of the variety of perspectives Agora Gallery represents, the artwork is diverse in style, scale, and subject matter. The exhibition will feature photography, painting, and mix-media artworks. Audience members can expect everything from textural splattered abstract paints to black and white macro-photography.

Unbound Perspectives is opening September 26, 2020 and will be on exhibit until October 17, 2020. There will be an opening reception Thursday, October 1, 2020, 6-8 PM. Located at 530 West 25th St., Agora Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 11 AM – 6 PM. Entrance to the gallery is free.
