Printmaking – The Image Conceived and Transformed

South Shore Art Center is presenting a printmaking exhibition opening Friday, September 12 with a reception, open to the public, from 6 to 8 pm. Printmaking: the Image Conceived and Transformed will continue through October 19, 2014. GALLERY TALKS: Sunday, Sept. 14 at 1 pm and Sunday, Sept, 28 at 1 pm.
Artists in the exhibition include Marcia Goodwin, Ann Guiliani, Leslie Kramer, Sara Ringler, Cecilia Rossey, and Joyce Zavorskas. As curator Ann Guiliani mentions in her concept statement, “This exhibit will illustrate how images are transformed through the process of printmaking.”
The Dillon Gallery will showcase the work of Gallery Artists: Andrew Anderson-Bell, Bernard Korites, Colin Moore, Sergio Roffo, and Mike Sleeper in a show entitled “The Marks of Men.” The faculty feature is Lilly Cleveland, an instructor in watercolor painting at the Art Center.
South Shore Art Center is located at 119 Ripley Road, Cohasset. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, 10-4 and Sunday, noon to 4.
