Seabury Academy presents “Lindsay Squared:A Father/Son Exhibit” will feature mixed media artwork by Hu Lindsay (father) and photography by David Lindsay (son).

Opening reception with light refreshments will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 6:30 to 8:00 p.m at ARTWorks Gallery on the Green, 60 East Avenue Norwalk, CT 06851. Show runs through May 24, 2016.

Gallery hours:
Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Sunday 10–11 a.m. and 12 noon–1 p.m.

Throughout his successful 50-year career as a commercial artist, Hu Lindsay continued to paint, mostly abstracts, experimenting with a variety of media. Since his retirement in 2000, this award-winning artist’s mixed media art and paintings have been juried into exhibits in Easton, Greenwich, New Canaan, Newtown, Norwalk, Ridgefield and Rowayton and at the Putnam County Art Council in Mahopack, NY. His artwork also has been featured in solo or group shows at Brendan’s 101 (Rowayton), the ARTworks Gallery, Darien Sports Shop, Flow of Art Gallery (Norwalk), the Maritime Gallery (Norwalk), Max’s Art Supply (Westport), The Skyroom Gallery in Atria (Stamford) and UCBC (Darien).

David Lindsay is an award-winning professional photographer, videographer, web designer and graphic artist with close to 40 years’ experience in the graphics industry. He operates Advanced Photographix, an architectural photography business in Norwalk (www.aphotographix.com) as a subsidiary of parent company Lindsay New Media, LLC. He is an exhibiting member of the Rowayton Arts Center in Norwalk and his photos have appeared in a variety of exhibitions, web sites and magazines.

A portion of all art sales benefits outreach programs of Seabury Academy of Music and the Arts, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which administers ARTWorks, Mid-Day Music Concerts and St. Paul’s Chorister Program in residence at St. Paul’s.
