New paintings by Connecticut artist Katherine Evans will be on exhibit at the Cooper & Smith Gallery from Oct 10 through Nov 1. Evans’s bold abstracts vibrate with color harmonies, moods flickering among the brush strokes and layered textures. Her artwork has won awards in numerous juried exhibitions, one juror praising its “jewel-like quality.”
