The second of two linked exhibitions designed to highlight Moholy-Nagy’s significance among the noteworthy number of photographic masters from Hungary—including André Kertész, Martin Munkácsi, Imre Kinszki, György Kepes, Robert Capa, and Brassaï —and continued innovation within contemporary photography from Hungary. “Echoes” features 30 modern and contemporary Hungarian artists, including neo-avant-garde and new-wave artists of the 1970s and 1980s, many never previously shown in the US.
