It’s no accident that the ASU Art Museum has one of the leading collections of contemporary craft in the nation; founding director Rudy Turk’s interest in contemporary and conceptual craft was well-known and is now carried on by a group of collectors in the Valley. Crafting the Collection showcases more than 30 new donations by Sara and David Lieberman, as well as stunning new quilt by Japanese artist Ai Kijima donated by longtime ASU Art Museum supporter Mikki Weithorn.
