The next show at the Rowayton Arts Center, “Abstraction,” opens April 3. You’re invited to join us at the reception on Sunday, April 3, 4-6pm. Winners of the exhibit will be announced at the reception.
The “Abstraction” exhibition features art in any media, on any theme. Exhibiting members were encouraged to work with a large degree of independence from realistic representation. Artwork is available for purchase. The “Abstraction” chairperson is Maria Friscia and co-chair is Linda Francis. The judge, Eleanor Flatow is the co- director at the Carriage Barn Arts Center in New Canaan. The exhibit will be up until April 24.
The RAC Gallery and Art School are located on the bank of the scenic Five Mile River in Rowayton, CT at 145 Rowayton Avenue. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday: 12pm-5pm, Sunday, 1pm-4pm.
