Cos Cob, CT, February 28, 2012 – The Greenwich Historical Society launches its 2012 Community Artists Series, and its third season, with Focus on Photography. The exhibition, on view from March 7 until May 2, will feature images by photographers Libby Collins, Barbara O’Shea, Pouli Otton and Cristina Saijo-Pye. The artists offer uniquely personal views of the world filtered through their philosophy and life experiences as well as the lens of their cameras. The Community Artists series was established to support and encourage contemporary local artists by offering a welcoming venue for the exhibition of their work in a unique and historic setting. All works on display will be available for purchase. The show may be viewed at the Greenwich Historical Society Storehouse Museum Shop, Wednesday through Sunday, from noon to 4:00 pm. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Admission to the Museum Shop is free. An opening reception will be held on March 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
