Corcoran Gallery of Art presents Richard Diebenkorn: The Ocean Park Series. Richard Diebenkorn was an innovative post war artist whose work inspired generations of artists.
This will be the first major exhibition since the NY Whitney show in 1999 that will focus on Diebenkorn’s most popular body of work, Ocean Park. The exhibition features more than 80 works, both large-scale paintings, smaller paintings made on cigar box lids, mixed-media drawings on paper, monotypes, and prints.
