Dorie Petrochko will give a presentation on The History of Natural Science Illustration at 2 pm, followed by the Opening Reception. Light refreshments will be served. Admission is free.

Cindy Gilbane’s work springs from a lifelong fascination with nature. From botanical watercolors to oil landscapes or acrylic murals, capturing the design and colors of natural forms has long been her artistic pursuit.

Susannah Graedel portrays natural science subjects in graphite, ink and color. Her artistic career is an extension of a life spent learning about the natural world and sharing her knowledge and excitement as an environmental educator in New Jersey and Connecticut.

Drawing and painting have been Linda Miller’s lifelong passion and the focus of her education. She has illustrated two books of poetry: Windowsills by Bert Meyers and Restless Motion by Joan Egeland-Scott.

Dorie Petrochko is an accomplished painter and natural science illustrator and teacher. Dorie exhibits her paintings and drawings through galleries and commissions nationally. Her interest in travel and painting birds is a lifelong passion.

Following a 15-year business career, Jan Prentice began the serious study of art. Since then, Jan has exhibited her work widely including Salon International 2013, Paint America Top 100, the Arnolfini Centre for Contemporary Art, and many other venues.
