The call for applications to the TIFF Open has already started. Once again it takes place as part of the TIFF Festival in Wrocław. The deadline for submissions is 3/06/2019 at 23:59.

TIFF Open is an open competition of the TIFF Festival dedicated to photographers and creators using the medium of photography. As always, we are looking for an unconventional, original look, fresh and unique ideas for photographic projects. Although the competition itself has no imposed theme, projects and cycles that refer to this year’s Festival slogan: “worlds” are welcome.

From among the submitted applications in cooperation with the curators, who are also the jurors of the competition, we will select 3 winners to whom we will provide professional substantive and promotional support during the implementation of the original projects. The awarded projects will be presented in gallery BWA Wrocław Główny during this year’s edition of the TIFF Festival 2019 // Worlds, which takes place at 04-08.09.2019. Exhibitions will be open till 30th of September 2019. In addition, the jury will select up to 12 projects, which will be shown in the form of a slideshow during the Festival.

We invite students and graduates of art schools, amateurs, freelancers, as well as those who already have achievements on the Polish and world photography scene to participate in the TIFF Open.

The jury consists of: Maciej Bączyk (audiovisual artist), Anna Mituś (curator and head of BWA Wrocław Główny Gallery), Krzysztof Pacholak (documentary photographer, curator, culture animator) and Maciej Bujko (Program Director of the TIFF Festival).

Applications are accepted until June 3rd by 23:59 via the entry form on this page: http://tiff.wroc.pl/en/en-tiff-open/tiffopen-form/
