Barn Gallery Fundraiser
Food Literacy Project/Field Day Family Farm Site
Entry Deadline: May. 7
The Food Literacy Project announces its Barn Gallery Fundraiser! The Food Literacy Project is a farm-based, nonprofit, educational agency dedicated to transforming youth and their communities through food, farming and the land. This year staffer Adrian Rowan is spearheading an effort to invite local artists to raise funds to sustain this work. Regional artists are invited to submit work relating to food, farming, and the land. All artists will be required to donate at least 50% of their profits to the Food Literacy Project in exchange for a chance to show/sell your work, meet other local artists, and gain exposure on social media.
We encourage artists regardless of their experience or education level to submit their best interpretation of this theme related to food, farming, and the land. The event will be held Friday, May 18, 2018. All work must be installed on Friday the 18th before noon and de-installed Saturday, May 19. The deadline to apply is May 1 (NOW EXTENDED TO MAY 7TH). We will review the applications and let you know by May 5 (NOW MAY 10TH).
