Jackson Junge Gallery is immediately seeking artists’ submissions for their upcoming exhibition SCAPES, opening on Friday, May 8, 2020 and running through Sunday, June 28, 2020.

Artists are encouraged to submit artwork that is portraying some type of scape.

Submissions for the exhibition are free.

Landscape, cityscape, bodyscape, seascape, technoscape, etc… SCAPES will open the mind to go beyond pre-conceived notions of what is typically thought of when imagining what these scapes represent.

Artists in all media are encouraged to submit artwork that represents the different scapes in our realm of existence. This exhibition has a broad theme with the intent to exhibit an amalgam of mediums and interpretations.

All submitted work MUST conceptualize the theme above. Priority and preference will be given to new works of art. Artworks must be original, professionally presented and ready for installation.

Send jpegs as attachments to [email protected] with the file name as “artwork title _ artist’s last name”

No more than 8 pieces may be submitted.

The deadline for submissions is Sunday, March 22, 2020. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. The jury selection begins Thursday, March 26, 2020. Artist notifications will be sent out by Monday, March 30, 2020. If selected, artwork must be received no later than Sunday, May 3, 2020.
