Theme:

The term “Revolutionary” explores various interpretations of revolution, from social and political turmoil to artistic innovation and personal transformation. It could focus on historical revolutions, contemporary social movements, or even the concept of revolution within an individual’s life. The Rehoboth Art League welcomes its members to interpret their own ideas of what revolutionary means to them.

Delivery of Works (if accepted): March 23 through March 29, 2026.

Awards: There are no awards for this showcase.

 

Submission Requirements

Each artist may submit up to two (2) works for review. Submitted works must be produced no earlier than 2024 and never have been displayed in any RAL gallery/exhibition.  All work must be for sale. There is no size restriction for works in this exhibition. Submission images must be less than 4MB each.  Upon each submission, you will receive an email confirming acceptance. You may re-enter the call until the deadline to delete, change, and/or edit your submissions. Check out this instructional video to resize larger images to under 4MB using both Mac and Windows operating systems.

Display

Works will be displayed at the discretion of the Exhibitions Director and all work is to remain on display throughout the entire length of the exhibition.  All 2-D works must be wall hung ready with wire. Sawtooth hangers are not permitted. Any special requirements for hanging must be discussed with the Exhibitions Director in advance of delivery.

Commissions

All works must be available for sale. The artist will receive a sixty-five percent (65%) payment for any works sold during this exhibition. Following the exhibition: the artist must pay a thirty (35%) percent commission to the RAL for any work(s) sold outside of the RAL to a buyer who was introduced to the work(s) while on display during this exhibition.

Any works remaining at the RAL after one (1) month past the end date of this exhibition may be forfeited to the Rehoboth Art League.
