OPEN CALL FOR ART IN MIDDLE GEORGIA!!

The Grand Opera House in Macon is hosting Macon Arts Explosion (MAX) on October 23rd and 24th, an all-weekend artist-centered celebration of the art of middle Georgia. Radically inclusive and created by and for artists, The Grand wants to give you the space to display your art and performance. Anyone can submit to MAX as many times as they want, and there are no table fees or application fees. The goal is to explode the venue with as much art, theatre, and culture as we can possibly fit into The Grand.

There are three different ways to participate:
1.Maker Merchant Spaces: Table/booth space to showcase your wares and perform interactive art activities. You set your prices, with zero application fees, and The Grand only takes a 15% commission on sold goods.
2. Stage Shout-Out Spots: A 15-20 minute slot to give us a sneak peek at whatever you do. Do you run kid’s camps or classes? Tell us about your program! Do you run an improv troupe? Advertise your upcoming shows! Give us a taste of who you are.
3. Guerilla Grand Spaces: We are opening up six spaces on the fringes of The Grand that you can turn into whatever creative heaven you want. Can you make a dramatic tragedy out of the dressing room or a concert on the balcony? Come show us!
