Welcome to [all SHE makes] – a curated directory for women artists worldwide.

Women artists remain drastically underrepresented across the world. Founded by a female immigrant artist Svitlana Martynjuk, our goal is to offer a curated space to locate women artists from any corner of the world.

There are many places to find talent, but none where professional women artists can be discovered by discipline or location. Since women artists are extremely underrepresented in galleries and museums (see research), talent searches leave an alarming majority of women artists undiscovered, unless organizations are committed to bringing equality into the art world.

$10 – General submission: application for a listing placement in the directory.
$15 – General submission + monthly feature: additionally allows you to be considered for artist of the month feature, meaning that if chosen, you will be interviewed for our blog, social media, and listed as a highlighted artist on our website’s homepage.

One entry per discipline category per submission period please. Repeat entries will be deleted, unless you are applying in a different discipline category (painting and sculpture). Deadline is on the 25th of every month, and acceptance emails are sent out in the few following days.

No membership fees (ever). $1 from each submission is donated to National Museum of Women in the Arts.
