The IN-IL Cellphone Prography Competition is one of three high school student art competitions sponsored by the Purdue Department of Art and Design during fall 2014.
The Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries at Purdue University are now accepting images taken with a cell phone camera for the IN-IL High School Cellphone Photography Competition at Purdue University. High school students in Indiana and Illinois are eligible to enter. Images must be captured with a cell phone camera and can only be manipulated with a cellphone application. No Photoshop adjustments are permitted. Accepted work will be presented in the Rueff Galleries online gallery, and prize winners’ work will be exhibited from December 8 – 19, 2014, at the Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries. A public reception honoring the prize winners and all participants will take place on Friday, December 12, 6 – 8 pm, in the Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries in Pao Hall, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
To enter, submit your file(s) and information via the online submission form located at the Rueff Galleries website listed in this post.
You will be asked to provide your name, mailing address, name of high school, name of art teacher, grade level, and category. You can submit up to three images.
ELIGIBILITY
High school students (grades 9 – 12) in Indiana and Illinois are eligible to enter.
REQUIREMENT AND FILE FORMATTING
Up to three images can be submitted. All files must be JPG or PNG. The file size should not exceed 2 MB.

One prize-winning work per grade level, $100
One grand prize, $200
DEADLINE
Files must be submitted by November 17, 2014
