The Starry Night Residency Program provides artists, writers, and curators the opportunity to live and work within a small, creative community. Located in the downtown historic hot springs district of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, the program is a place where our participants can find quiet solitude and focus on their work in a peaceful environment. Holiday rate will be $500/week, for residencies 1-4 weeks, week 5-8 standard rate applies.

Residency time frames are a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 8 weeks, the holiday rate will only apply for 1-4 week residencies, week 5-8 standard rate applies.

The residency includes a private, fully furnished apartment with private bathroom and kitchen, shared studio space, and courtyard with gardens, barbecue, and campfire area. Emerging or established artists, writers, and arts administrators are encouraged to apply. Participants may apply to bring their partners or a creative team member for the duration of their residency.
There is no application fee.

Eligibility: Emerging and established visual artists, artist teams, writers, researchers and curators.

Financial Aid: Not available with the holiday rate

Residency fees: Standard cost for residency is $900 per week. Holiday rate will be $500 per week. Participants may apply to bring their partner, spouse, or creative partner for an additional $300 per week holiday rate does not apply. Payment plans may be available, and early consideration is available upon request.
