Howland Center in Beacon, NY presents the live thematic exhibit: Combinaciones/Combinations.
As artists we combine textures, colors, material, light and composition to create works of art. For this call we are asking Latinx artists to submit work that exemplifies the many ways we combine our culture, our history, our traditions, etc into our artwork. Use your imagination. All media and interpretations of the theme will be reviewed and considered. This exhibit will be juried by Sylvia Diaz, Arts Education Coordinator of Arts Mid-Hudson, Director and Curator of Gallery 40 in Poughkeepsie, and Owner and Curator of Art Juxtapose. Please submit 4 pieces of artwork to [[email protected]][7]. There is a $25 fee for accepted works. No fee required until your work is accepted. Submission deadline is Wednesday Sept.1st. Artwork is due at Howland Center in Beacon by September 3rd.
