Propeller Art Gallery is seeking Submissions to the annual Guest Curated Exhibition by Simone Rojas-Pick & Chad Wolfond to be presented online & at the gallery, 30 Abell Street, Toronto from June 22 to July 10, 2022.
and all of a sudden Call for Submissions is inviting artists to reflect and respond to how uncertainty, instability, and perhaps failure can act as an impetus for artistic experimentation and innovation. Art making is an activity where doubt lies in wait at every turn. It is specifically in this space that the creative mind thrives. After all, visionary artistic thinking is the ability to break through limits and exercise a critical mode of thinking, rather than working with set assumptions to imagine otherwise.
Artists are invited to submit up to two works in any variety of mediums and techniques. The curators encourage a diversity of voices, approaches, and responses to how overcoming uncertainty and doubt has the potential to be an empowering experience.
Be Humorous! Be Provocative! Be Irreverent! Be Fearless!
