Open to all artists residing in the United States, age 18 and older.

The Art Center invites artists to submit work for Beyond the Surface: A Mixed Media Exhibition, a national juried exhibition exploring the limitless possibilities that emerge when artists combine materials, techniques, and ideas.

Entry Fee
Non-Members: $30 USD for up to three (3) submissions.
Art Center Members: No entry fee. Membership must be current.

Exhibition Juror
Dennis Cardalisco is a contemporary artist with more than 40 years of experience in the visual arts. He studied at the Museum School at Tufts University and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

Awards
Best in Show – First Place Awarded to the artwork that demonstrates exceptional creativity, technical achievement, and overall excellence in mixed media.

Juror’s Choice Award – Selected by the exhibition juror, Dennis Cardalisco, in recognition of outstanding artistic merit, originality, and creative expression.

People’s Choice Award: Selected by exhibition visitors and awarded to the artist whose work receives the most votes during the exhibition.
