(Beyond) Redemption: While common usage of the phrase implies hopeless or irreparable, we are looking beyond the point when all seems lost- past hardship, uncertainty, and imminent failure. This show is about the art that results from working through all the roadblocks, life events, questionable choices, self doubt and all else that threatens to undermine our endeavors.

(Beyond) Redemption is a call to artists who have responded to their own challenges with resolution and fortitude; who have found redemption in or for their work. This exhibition brings together artists from across Southern California whose practices reflect reclamation, renewal, or redefining qualities in concept, materials, method or subject.
