Miami’s newest “Concept Fair” located near the second larger banking capital of North America, Brickell District and adjacent to Perez Museum and Frost Museum presents Art Basel Week Next Level Fair focusing on a broader range of blue chip galleries and innovative emerging artists. This unique Fair, running from December 1st –December 7th will attract international visitors including gallerists, curators and art enthusiasts creating Downtown Art District one of the most desired visited locations during this week.

Contemporary Art Projects USA has been accepted to exhibit their unique juried international Call for Artists “Cosmic Connections” sponsored by Major Corporations and featuring the most avant garde artists of today’s art world at the Concept Fair. All innovative media will be accepted including painting, photography, small and monumental sculptures, installations, 3D printing, digital and computer art, mixed media, short films and videos

The cosmic gauntlet is down. We ask all emerging and established artists, 18 years of age and older to respond to our theme “Cosmic Connections”. Are we connected to the Universe? Are we alone? Is the Universe in us?

The following media is accepted: Computer Art, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Short Films, Small and Monumental Sculptures, Video, 3D Printing, as well as all Innovative New Technologies in Art.

An esteemed jury will choose artwork based upon artistic excellence, innovation and originality.

The 2014 Jurors are:

Roberta Gonella, has twenty years experience in the art world, as gallery owner, art consultant, and curator of various art events around the world. Ms. Gonella was responsible for introducing to the Miami Market “The Young Mandarins” which showed at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2006. In 2013, she was responsible for the groundbreaking show “Arachnes Return” in Zurich, which showed new tapestries using digital computers featuring the Jacquard loom. She writes the Visionary Art Trends blog with a following of more than 40,000 art lovers.

Richard L. Tooke, Former Curator of Fundraising Exhibitions for the Patty and Jay Baker Naples Museum of Art and Active Member of the Friends of Arts. Mr. Tooke brings his thirty years experience in the field of Photography where he was Director of Rights and Reproductions at the prestigious Museum of Modern Art in New York. With an extensive Art Collection comprised of established artists he continually searches out exciting new emerging artists from around the world .His belief is to support young artists who have devoted themselves to creating original viewpoints of the world, which then enrich our lives.

Silvia Medina, Ms. Medina was founding member of the Havana Biennial as well as Wilfredo Lam Center, Havana, Cuba. She worked at the Foundation for the Development of the Arts and Execute Director of Sala Mendoza in Caracas, Venezuela. At the Present time she is a freelance curator at USA and International Fairs and Galleries.

Benefits for Participation

The Jury Committee of Contemporary Art Projects USA will select runner ups artists to be exhibit at the assigned booth and also wants to recognize emerging artists who demonstrate to their art, and the commitment to excellence with a First Prize of $2,000.00 and Second Prize $1,000.00, other recognition will be considered at a later time.

In addition to the monetary award winners all other accepted applicants will have one selected artwork at the HD Cosmic Connection Display at Concept Fair from December 1st – 7th 2014. As well as part of the Cosmic Connection Digital Project Catalog, we also are offering Sixth Months on Contemporary Art Projects USA e-commerce. The Commission Structure will remain the same.

Note: Galleries, Foundations, Institutions or Group of Artists are Welcome to Apply!!!!!

All Artists will be properly identified with their individual representation. Under the Slide Presentation on the HD, the First Slide will be representing the institution, gallery, group of artists or foundation to which the artists are members or represented.
