We are seeking artists to create, sell or show their talent in the 7th annual Hooked on Art Festival. Held in downtown Chesterton on Saturday, Sept. 22, artists can enter as a live street artist, vendor, or compete in the Chalk Art Competition.

Chalk Artists: Chalk art competition features $2,000 in total cash prizes- 1st place will receive $1,000, 2nd place takes $750, and 3rd receives $250. Artists get 1 set of chalk and provided chalk space.

Live Street Artists: Benefit from prime placement, front and center of the festival crowds for their work to be seen. Space is limited, and we work to make sure each media of artwork is unique so that two of the same type of artists do not compete for attention. (eg. 2 artists who both demonstrate glass bead making)

Art Vendors: Sell their work to a crowd of local and non-local shoppers, taking place at the same day as Chesterton’s popular European Market.

Proceeds from the event support affordable substance abuse treatment in the community.
