2014 Small Works! Show
Saturday, November 1 – Sunday, December 21, 2014
Deadline for entering the show is:
Thursday, October 2, 2014
This group show will highlight small scale artworks in all media.
The history of miniature art goes back to the earliest periods of artistic production. Particularly, significant are early miniature manuscripts and portraits, as well as Old Master prints and drawings, some examples of which will be included in the show, thereby tracing the evolution of such intimate gem-like works that require close examination. Artists should make note of exact materials and any distinctive presentation of the artwork if applicable. Works in all media will be considered.
Two dimensional works and sculptures are limited in size to 14″ x 14″ (including the frame). Diptychs, triptychs or series will be considered.
Juror:
Lee Findlay Potter, Director of the David Findlay Jr. Gallery in New York.
