Call for Artists: Jury for Exhibits in 2027-28

Interested in exhibiting your work in CALC’s Galleries? Submit your work for consideration during the jury session! This session will fill 4-5 slots in Fall 2026- Summer 2027. Exhibitions may be solo or combine 2-3 artists at CALC’s discretion.

Please send images of 5 separate works for 2-D work or up to 15 images (3 views of 5 different works) for 3-D work. No jurying will be done from originals. We also request that artists submit an artist statement and resume. An artist statement is required to be considered for an exhibit.

Preferred method of delivery is to submit the images via email to jurysession@carlislearts.org. Please call (717)- 249-6973 or email Abria at gallerydirector@carlislearts.org if you need to make other arrangements.

Work exhibited must be similar in scope, media, and style to the work originally presented in the jurying process. We may pair complementary artists in 2 or 3 person shows. All work must be professionally presented and properly wired for hanging. Framing should be free of obvious marks, with clean and properly proportioned matting, where mats are applicable.

Categories: Please choose one category in which to be considered. Separate entries must be made in each
category if you wish to be considered in more than one.
a. painting, drawing, hand-pulled prints
b. mixed media, fiber, fine crafts,
c. photography and digital painting
d. 3D Art (functional and non)

Groups: (formal or informal) wishing to be juried must submit one entry, consisting of 2 images from each
member wishing to participate. Space limitations and the size of the group will dictate how many works per group
member could be shown.
