Our long awaited 104th Annual Juried Exhibition will be back at the Bendheim Gallery this summer. Due to ongoing pandemic protocol, our procedures will change for this exhibition. Art work for inclusion in the exhibit will be selected digitally using EntryThingy.
Accepted artwork only will be brought to the gallery for the exhibition which will be live and in person. All awards will be determined from the actual work (not from submitted jpegs).

NO SHIPMENTS OF ARTWORKS ACCEPTED. WORK MUST BE HAND DELIVERED IN PERSON.

JUDGE: Allison Rudnick, Associate Curator in the department of Drawings and Prints at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, oversees the ephemera collection and manages the Study Room for Drawings and Prints. She joined The Met in 2012 and previously held positions at the Whitney Museum of American Art and the print shop Harlan & Weaver. Her exhibitions at The Met include The Old Ball Game: New York Baseball, 1887?1977 (2016) and On the Ropes: Vintage Boxing Cards from the Jefferson R. Burdick Collection (2018), and she contributed to the exhibition World War I and the Visual Arts (2017). She is currently organizing an upcoming exhibition that explores American cultural identity in the 1930s through a range of media. Allison has published and presented widely on modern and contemporary art and ephemera. She holds a BA from Connecticut College and an MPhil from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY), where she is a PhD candidate.

Entry open to all member and also non-members. Works are not eligible if previously accepted for one of our juried exhibitions; if they have been exhibited in the Bendheim or GAS Galleries; or if completed prior to 2019. All submitted work must be attractively and appropriately matted, framed and/or presented. All works must be for sale. If a portrait, the price of a similar commission must be stated. No PORs. The Bendheim Gallery reserves the right to final approval of the selection of artwork for the exhibition. Entry fees will not be returned if the Bendheim chooses to remove a work from eligibility for exhibition.

AWARDS: Cash and other awards totaling over $2000 will be presented at the opening reception. A non-refundable fee of $35.00 first piece entry and $25.00 for the second entry. Multiple entries from the same artist must be submitted at the same time to take advantage of the lowered additional entry fee. Entry fees must be paid to the Greenwich Art Society thru their website.

The gallery will be open by appointment only for exhibition viewing but subject to change with restriction modifications. Awards will be presented in person in a small gathering and a #3D virtual replica of the galleries will be online. Public Reception TBD per CDC and Town of Greenwich Guidelines.

Entry Instructions:
SIZE: Wall-hung works are limited to a 5′ foot height and 5′ width including frame. Works must be dry and wired securely for hanging.
WORKS NOT ON CANVAS MUST BE FRAMED. Freestanding sculptures are limited to 8′ in height mounted and 12′ square floor area.
Sculptors must provide bases if needed, secure small works firmly, and install difficult to handle pieces. Works not meeting these requirements will not be accepted
