BMAC members are invited to tour Wingate Studio, an internationally renowned printmaking studio in Hinsdale, N.H.

Wingate Studio produces and publishes printed editions, books, and special projects in collaboration with contemporary artists. They specialize in intaglio etching, with an openness to exploration and innovation within and beyond the traditional process. Projects are directed by the artists and facilitated by the studio.

Wingate Studio was founded in 1985 by Peter Pettengill. James Pettengill and Alyssa Robb joined the studio as co-directors in 2013. Located on a 55-acre farm in the Connecticut River Valley, the studio was built out of a classic New England barn where projects still happen today. Artists invited to collaborate on projects are provided with a private guest room and nourishing meals made with ingredients from Wingate Farm. This structure has supported artists in their working process for over 30 years.
