Mary Horrigan Watercolor Exhibit at Town Hall

The Marlborough Arts Center announces that watercolor paintings by local artist Mary Horrigan are currently being exhibited in the Marlborough Town Hall at 26 North Main Street and can be viewed during the usual weekly operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except for Friday when they close at noon. The Arts Center arranges for local artists to exhibit in the Town Hall throughout the year. This exhibit will be in Town Hall from February until early May.
Mary Horrigan’s background includes workshops with prominent artists Edgar Whitney, Frank Webb, Janet Rogers, and Charles Reid. She has taught classes at Manchester Community College, the Glastonbury Art Guild, Middletown Adult Education, Guilford Art Center, and the Marlborough Arts Center.
An award-winning artist, Mary is an elected member of the Connecticut Watercolor Society, and Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts. She is an associate member of the New England Watercolor Society and the American Watercolor Society. Locally, she holds membership in the East Hampton Art Association, Essex Art Society, Lyme Art Association, Connecticut En Plein Air Painters Society, and the Marlborough Arts Center.
The Marlborough Arts Center is a non-profit regional center for the arts located in an historic building at 231 North Main Street where many artistic events, classes, musical evenings, and community events are held. Many people also choose to rent the beautiful Charles W. Hall Art Gallery space for personal parties and celebrations. The facility is fully accessible and has ample parking.
