…Fine aims to showcase creative work that defies classification. It explores the role of art institutions in the fields of innovation, community organizing, craft, and design by showcasing moments when artists engage the art world with ulterior motives, or reject the art world but are embraced by it anyway. It asks the question: how does an artwork benefit from that distinction and when can it hold a project back?

Suitable submissions may include academic, professional, or personal projects-turned-artworks or art projects that spurred innovation or social change. Other submissions might include artworks that have jobs and serve specific purposes, or those that bring specific audiences into the art world who may not otherwise end up there.
