Five Points Gallery, located at 33 Main Street in Downtown Torrington, will open a new show on March 17, 2016 which will run through April 16, 2016. Sponsored by Brooks, Todd and McNeil, the exhibition will feature the work of three artists: Nancy Lasar, David Borawski and Maggie Jay Horne. Five Points Gallery will hold two events in conjunction with this exhibit both of which are free and open to the public: an opening reception on March 18th from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and an artist conversation on April 1st at 6 p.m. which will be moderated by Joseph Montebello. The public is also encouraged to visit the gallery during regular hours, Thursdays through Sundays from 1 – 5 p.m.
Five Points Gallery has three exhibition spaces: The West Gallery, The East Gallery and the TDP Gallery. The West Gallery will feature an exhibition of work by Nancy Lasar: “Mystique: Recent Work in Multiple Media”
Featured in the East Gallery is David Borawski in an exhibition titled “Wicked Garden”. A multi-media installation artist, David Borawksi creates conceptually driven work that reflects upon iconic cultural and societal events or moments that have influenced major shifts in our collective consciousness, but now may be near the point of forgetting.
The TDP Gallery will showcase works by Maggie Jay Horne in an exhibit titled “Textural Memory”. Maggie Jay Horne creates textiles which have a sculptural quality to the work.

Located in a historic downtown building, Five Points Gallery (FPG) is a non-profit contemporary art gallery showcasing professional regional, national and international visual artists.
