May 13 – August 7, 2016 the Susquehanna Art Museum will present The City, a juried exhibition that challenges artists to capture the relationship between urban space and its influence on art. The uniquely diverse nature of metropolitan life inspires exploration of the environment, one of the biggest inspirations of contemporary art. Works selected for this exhibition will reflect the influence of the urban landscape, both visually and conceptually. These works may include, but are not limited to, performance, video, protest art, digital design, and documentation of public works/graffiti art.
