The Western Connecticut State University Department of Art will present the Senior Thesis Exhibition, featuring the work of graduating art students, from noon to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, from Wednesday, April 22, through Tuesday, May 5, in the Gallery at the Visual & Performing Arts Center on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave Extension in Danbury. There will be an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22. The exhibition and reception will be free and open to the public.

The Senior Thesis Exhibition is the capstone experience for the students who major in art and graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Within the program, there are four areas of concentration: Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography and Studio Art.
