The work of Serena Perrone’s (b. 1979, St. Louis)is considered to maintain the quality and tradition of the early woodcut, drawing, silkscreen, and intaglio. Her work combines the labor intensive printing process with free style painting to create an alternate, individualistic style.
Her work is as much a series of poetic gestures a stylized paint form and shape.
