Grammar of Movement presents modular porcelain works organized through color, repetition, balance, and spatial relationships. Using a restricted vocabulary of forms and a defined set of rules, Viggiano creates variation through shifts in position, rotation, sequence, and interruption.
Informed by relational approaches to color and programmed design, she treats each composition as one possibility within a flexible system.
