This autumn, DECORAZONgallery is proud to present Of Watchers, Tricksters & the Bold, a new solo exhibition by acclaimed artist Michele Mikesell. In this powerful body of work, Mikesell channels archetypal figures that blur the lines between human and animal, myth and reality. Her expressive canvases investigate the liminal spaces between what is known and what lurks just beyond perception. Drawing from myth, folklore, and personal mythology, Mikesell conjures figures both familiar and uncanny: watchers whose gaze holds compassion and vigilance, tricksters who disrupt and destabilize, and bold presences that embody transformation, defiance, and reclamation.
