Leda Arensberg
Presented by Pleiades
Leda Arensberg works mostly with paper: creating drawings and paintings, collage constructions and motorized wall mobiles. Having been influenced initially by artists like Klee and Kandinsky, her work has evolved into a highly personal, expressionistic and whimsical style. Drawings vary between abstract and representational. She has been working in New York City since she was a student at the High School of Music and Art in Manhattan. She studied at the Art Students League in NY, Bard College, and at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. She has had 6 solo shows at the Pleiades Gallery in New York, as well as participating in various juried shows at galleries in the U.S., Germany and Canada.
