“If you look closely there is a dance in every tree, a song within every grassy field, and a story behind each ocean wave ~ countless gestures and poses within nature’s landscape; ever-changing yet timeless – inspiring me to capture and paint.” Jessica Pisano - Raised on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard, Jessica Pisano grew up surrounded by breathtaking landscapes – a natural environment that both inspired and nurtured her artistic soul. After pursuing her interest in art at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, she received a BA in Fine Arts as well as a Masters in Arts Administration from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Pisano furthered her studies, traveling to Italy to attend the Lorenzo De Medici School in Florence where she learned the art of using gold leaf and glazing. This experience gave birth to Jessica Pisano’s signature style. Since 1999, she has had numerous shows and her work is widely collected in both private and public collections all over the world.
