A transplant from Sweden by way of Italy, Helena Palazzi began her artistic journey as a teen growing up in the 80’s with a secondhand analog camera and a hand-me down black-and-white darkroom in her family garage. She attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia, Italy, where her first solo exhibition opened in February 1995. After being featured in a number of group and solo shows throughout Europe, Helena left for New York City to pursue a career in commercial photography, specializing in fashion and advertising. Since 2019, Helena has made Kingston NY her home as well as the locus of her commercial and fine art photography studio, Yellow House Production.
