Guillermo De Angelis was born in Rosario, Argentina and has practiced in the fields of architecture, design and philosophy. In a bohemian lifestyle, Guillermo has traveled and lived in many countries, from Italy, Spain and Argentina. He describes his encounter with the medium of photography as a “surrender”, leading him to a new form of expression, imperfect perhaps, yet a personal connection with the world’s essence. Guillermo finds an inward journey of discovery through his work, with an economy of resources and focusing on the details that strike him as the essence of a place, suggesting clearly but presenting the resulting images without the need to describe.
