After completing the Famous Artist's Correspondence course, and training at a local art school, Frank Farrar went to work as a commercial artist, and art-director for the next 40+ years specializing in humorous illustration, and caricature for clients that include: U.S. Department of the Interior, National Teachers Association, Coors Brewing, etc. He has been a recipient of awards from the NAGC Blue Pencil Competition, and the Educational Press Association of American. In his semi-retirement, he has found the time to pursue other mediums which include acrylic, watercolor and gouache.
