My subjects are the human being, the human form, and flowers. They serve as metaphors for the art escapades I seek and ultimately arrange for. They are my companions into the place of imagination, making tireless surrogates for my experiences and thoughts, both lived and contemplated. BREATH In this series of drawings, I wanted to depict the air we breathe and the act of breathing, and I see from the results so far that I’ve mainly drawn the exhalation and not the in-breath. On average, we take between 17,280 and 23,040 breaths a day. With these kinds of numbers, I’m encouraged to keep at it; I will continue breathing, living, and drawing. eileenmislove.com
