June 24 – July 16: The Beauty Within celebrates young artists’ perspectives on people in their lives. Artists, ages 5-18, from Old Lyme and its surrounding communities can submit portraits of people they admire – a friend, family member, teacher, coach, hero, or a self-portrait. Deadline is June 18.
July 15, 10am-1pm: Family Day at LAA offers fun for all with art projects, Plein Air painting, games, music, the Great Americans Project, and The Beauty Within award ceremony. Event is free and open to the public.
The gallery is open 10am-5pm, Wednesdays-Sundays.
