The Gallery opened in 1975 with a series of ‘Silo Scenes’. Ruth Henderson’s vision shaped the gallery into a champion of talented regional artists and craftspeople, and it soon had a following in New England and beyond. Housed in a converted hay barn c.1800, now listed on the National Register of Historic Places the gallery is a unique venue, with 27-foot ceilings, exposed timbers and a famous view into the barnyard. Hunt Hill Farm is a Smithsonian Institution affiliate.
