Selected sculptures from artists in the Society of Connecticut Sculptors are on display during July at Maple and Main Gallery.
An opening reception for the show will be Friday, July 7 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the main floor gallery when wine, appetizers and desserts will be served.
The society was founded in 1992 by a talented group of artists included sculptors from Connecticut and surrounding states including many who are internationally recognized.
They work in variety of styles, creating pieces in bronze, stone, terra cotta, plaster, wood and metals.
