Marlborough Arts Center Exhibit
Marlborough Town Hall Gallery
Sep. 24, 2024 - Oct. 31, 2027
The Marlborough Arts Center will continue sponsoring art exhibits at the Town Hall in Marlborough throughout the year. Each exhibit in the Town Hall Gallery is coordinated by member/artist Carole Jeffries, with a new artist highlighted every two months. This collaboration between the Marlborough Arts Center and the Town Hall means that everyone doing town business has the opportunity to enjoy perusing the creative works of local and regional artists while there.
Rob Bavier from Tolland is the artist showing from September 4 through October 31, 2012. He paints in acrylic now, but has been largely a watercolorist whose love of the sea is reflected in much of his work.
The Marlborough Arts Center is located at 231 North Main Street, Marlborough, Ct and is a non-profit regional center for the fine arts, performing arts, and fine crafts. Surrounded by landscaped ground, it is housed in an historic building that provides a beautiful setting for myriad art exhibits, classes, music, and activities throughout the year. The Marlborough Arts Center, which is open every Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. during exhibitions, also contains a Gift Shop with unique art works for sale by local artists. The Annual Members’ Art Show will open the season there with an Artists’ Reception on Friday, September 14, 2012.
