The Emerging Artists Series provides a stage for up-and-coming artists of all ages. This year’s shortlisted positions vary from large-scale dark atmospheric paintings (Hoff) over science fiction video installations explicitly featuring female heroines (Schönefeld) to minimalistic anthropomorphically shaped sculptures (Searle) and interventive installations making use of everyday objects (Vionnet).

The artists will be present at the opening.

Die Emerging Artists Serie bietet eine Bühne für aufstrebende Künstler jeden Alters. Die diesjährigen Shortlist-Positionen reichen von großformatigen, dunklen, atmosphärischen Gemälden (Hoff) über Science-Fiction-Video-Installationen mit weiblichen Heldinnen (Schönefeld) bis hin zu minimalistischen, anthropomorph geformten Skulpturen (Searle) und interventiven Installationen aus Alltagsgegenständen (Vionnet).

Die Künstler werden bei der Eröffnung anwesend sein.
